A fair question, and it gets a straight answer: our service is free to you as a buyer.
How that works #
We receive a fee from the selling side when a purchase completes. The agent’s commission is already built into the developer’s price, so it makes no difference to what you pay.
Two things follow from that, and both matter.
The price of the property does not change because we are alongside you. You do not pay a pound more than you would walking into the office yourself.
You are not tied to anything. A conversation with us commits you to nothing.
Does the fee bend our advice? #
The honest answer is that we are conscious of the question, which is why we are open about the model rather than quiet about it.
We are not paid to make you buy something. We are paid to do good work. The better informed you are and the more certain you are of your choice, the more valuable that is to our partners too. A buyer who was pushed into the wrong property is worth nothing to anybody.
It also means we would rather tell you a region does not suit you than send you on a viewing trip that wastes a weekend.
Trust is our currency. That is what the whole thing is built on.
